THF Berlin-Tempelhof Airport with the IATA code THF was one of the first commercial airports in Germany in 1932. It has been out of service since 2008 and a large green park has been created on the site - the Tempelhofer Feld - also known as Tempelhofer Freiheit.

SXF Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport with the IATA code SXF dates back to GDR times, has to remain in operation due to the fact that BER does not open and is sometimes voted the worst - sometimes the second-worst airport in the world.
